We’re experts on how to sleep better

WHO WE ARE

We’re a bunch of lifetime insomniacs who wanted something better than restless nights. Getting those sweet, sweet Zzzs is what drives us to always seek the next greatest thing in sleep. If there’s a new mattress that helps a person get more sleep or an eye mask that blocks out a little bit more light, we’re all over that.

Aside from products, we look into why and how sleep impacts our daily lives. Sleep science is fascinating so we love to share and make it accessible to everyone, including those that don’t love reading scientific journals as we do.

If you consider yourself a bona fide Sleep Junkie, welcome to your new one-stop-shop for all things sleep.

Our understanding of sleep didn’t happen overnight

OUR MISSION

We started Sleep Junkie in 2012 and one of our goals is to show people the value of a good night’s sleep. Sleep Junkie works to be the expert on all topics related to sleep. On our site, you’ll find comprehensive mattress reviews, the best mattress deals available, and tips on how to sleep better.

Our understanding of sleep didn’t happen overnight. We consulted with experts and conducted research into why we sleep, how to sleep better, and how a good night’s sleep improves your daily life. The more research we did, the more our assumptions were affirmed: a good night’s sleep is one of the foundations of living a healthy and happy life.

Our Editorial Process

Our editorial process goes beyond just cleaning up copy to minimize grammar and spelling errors. We submit our pieces to our expert review board to vet them for medical inaccuracies, preventing us form spreading myths and misinformation. This ensures we only present up-to-date information for a greater understanding of sleep-related topics.

When it comes to ranking products for our articles, we rely not only on our perceptions but also other’s perceptions. We dilignantly read through customer reviews to see what other people think about a product, allowing us to present it in a fair light.

Advertising Disclosure

Our articles often link to various products from numerous brands. Not only does this increase user convenience, allowing them to quickly judge a product’s potential for themselves, but partnering with brands increases our ability to provide in-depth information. Without affiliate links, we would be dependent on users to directly fund our articles and research.

When writing our articles, we strive to make our connections transparent while producing objective content. Our dedication is reserved for creating articles that help people boost their sleep quality and deepen their understanding of sleep science. For more information, please read our full advertising policy.

Privacy Policy

We write our articles with our readers in mind, and that extends toward taking their privacy concerns into account. We collect data to improve our understanding of what readers want, from streamlining the user experience to seeing what article subjects attract readers.

If you want to learn more about our protections, please visit our privacy policy page.

Terms of Use

While we write to inform the reader of many medical matters, we are not a substitute for a visit with your doctor. Concerns about your sleep quality or other medical issues should be raised with a medical professional that can give an accurate diagnosis. If you suspect you need immediate medical attention, please call emergency services or your doctor right away.
